CRUSH IT! : Why Now Is The Time To Cash In On Your Passion

(To those of you looking for the Wednesday edition of Minimalism, it had to wait as I share this amazing book…I will double post on Thursday)

The Man Crushing IT!!!When was the last time a book changed your life? For a matter of fact, when was the last time ANYTHING made a significant change in your life? Well, if it has been too long since last having a life changing event, than you MUST go pick up CRUSH IT….RIGHT NOW!

Most people say, “One day I will…” or “If only I had the time…” as excuses for not doing what they love. Well, Gary Vaynerchuk will not only blow your mind away, but he will inspire you to be and do more than you ever thought possible. Despite those earlier quoted excuses, through CRUSH IT, Gary describes how you can change your thinking on how business works, how you are intertwined in the business and career worlds and how you can stop doing what you hate and start doing what you love. If that right there doesn’t get you, let me continue….

On page 17, paragraph 2, first line, it says, “I’ve been dying to do this book, not because I think I can help everyone who wants to become a millionaire- although I am pretty sure I can – but because it drives me crazy to know that there are still people out there who haven’t figured out that they don’t have to settle.” DEAD ON! I hate the word settle. I hate when people know and say they are settling. Gary CRUSHES that idea and opens your mind to not settling. He opens you to working your ass off to do what you love. He gets you to monetize your passion. He gets you to do the exact opposite of what you are probably doing right now…settling. That still not motivate you, let me continue…

Vaynerchuk is just-like-you except he works 100 times harder, dreams bigger, and breaks more social barriers than Dennis Rodman in the 80′s, 90′s, and 00′s — combined. Vaynerchuk tells you to go against the 50 year old grain and enter the technologically advanced world that puts you in the driver seat of your life. Gary is straight forward in CRUSH IT! He tells you it is tough and challenging, but the reward is so much sweeter when you are doing what you love. Don’t you want to be doing what you love? I know I do.

There is no excuse not to drop $20 at Borders or Barnes and Noble for this book or about $11 on Amazon. Buy the damn book. It will change your life. It will make you happy. It will slap you in the face and make you realize your potential. Stop thinking later and start CRUSHING IT NOW!!!

I can’t wait to read my copy now after reading this… It just came it the mail today!!

That line that you read is incredible… it is very similar to the line in his video that Baker posted on Man vs Debt that says “There is no reason you for in 2008 to do shit you hate. No reason.” That has run thru my mind so many times… and has the same message… don’t settle!

    Love it.

  9. I saw a review that said it was high on motivation, but low on practical tips. Did you find this. I like books that have a balance of motivation and practical tips to apply. I didn’t like “Tribes” too much for that reason.

    Thanks, Dave.

      Hey Gordie…

It was extremely high on motivation. As for practical tips, I think the review you read wherever else didn’t read the last few chapters and pages 135-137. He lists the tips out. I definitely think you get enough tips. He doesn’t tell you how to sign up for a twitter account but that you need one.

      Hope you get it…
